About Us

Al Camara, of Rail Detail, has been custom painting model railroad cars since the early 90's. We specialize in New England Roads, but we welcome your custom orders. All cars are airbrushed, hand decaled, given a unique number, and sealed with a clear coat. Cars can be either pristine or weathered - your preference. If you want a special car for your layout, Al will paint it for you.

We have many satisfied customers of Rail Detail in the New England area and now, with our web presence, all over the world. A high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
